Never Seen the Sun

Warm waters bathe my hands
choking on the thickness of their
black, black eyes can't see the sun
serpents coil from my endless moon
baptise me with what you've left behind

I eat the things you would not see
I am something you could never be
Cold, dark, wet, never seen the sun
I hurt myself, I came undone

The screen is black with it's sharp, sharp edge
I am blind when they lead me to the light
their buzzing roar has filled my ears
their fragile legs trace the endless tracks
with their teeth in me I finally feel alive

I eat the things you would not see
I am something you could never be
Cold, dark, wet, never seen the sun
I hurt myself, I came undone

They turn their swollen eyes on me
straining to see what I cannot see
cold skin that's never seen the sun
draws the heat from inside of me
taking comfort in their moans of ecstacy

I eat the things you would not see
I am something you could never be
Cold, dark, wet, never seen the sun
I hurt myself, I came undone
